Sandra K. Wilson, JD

Sandra “Sandy” Wilson spent over two decades as in-house corporate counsel for a large multi-faceted company before joining Jordon Voytek Capital Partners.  As in-house counsel, Sandy was involved in the acquisition of multiple media companies.  In addition, Sandy’s experience includes conducting numerous business and real estate transactions as well as buying and selling large mobile and stationary industrial equipment.   Her experience also includes negotiating complex business contracts, asset purchase agreements, real estate purchase agreements, and collective bargaining agreements.  She has been engaged as a subject matter expert to assist with buy side and sell side labor and employment diligence on many M&A transactions.

Sandy’s diversified experience puts her in a unique position to help companies navigate their mergers and acquisitions transactions. She is committed to delivering strategic guidance and support to help clients make informed decisions about their M&A strategies.

Sandy received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 1984 from West Virginia University and her Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 1998 from West Virginia University College of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board.  

From June 2002 through May 2015, Sandy served as the Director of the Academic Excellence Program and Adjunct Lecturer in Appellate Advocacy/Advanced Legal Research for West Virginia University College of Law.  She has served on the board of directors of Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center, a non-profit center that advocates for children who have been abused or encountered other adverse childhood experiences by providing a child-friendly and safe environment for healing.

Sandy is married to Mark Wilson; they are proud parents of Mara and Chase Wilson and doting grandparents of Lynly, Emma, Channing, and Everett.  When not assisting clients, Sandy enjoys cooking, traveling, fly fishing, kayaking, and spending quality time with her family.
